Stay sits on claude.ai in your browser. It reads the usage indicator the host already shows, and the current conversation when you export. Both stay on this device, in Chrome local storage.
Nothing is sent to a Stay server unless you turn on Pro sync. There is no account for the chip, the dump drawer, or export.
The extension asks only for https://claude.ai/*. It does
not request all sites. It does not proxy your messages through a model
API.
Stay reads three things, all on this device: the usage windows Claude already shows (percent and reset time), lines you type into Dump, and the current conversation when you export or compact-copy. Those live in Chrome local storage. This version does not send them to a Stay server, does not sell them, and does not use them for ads.
